PRICE
RANGE: FROM ABOUT $150 - $1,650 EACH
Soprano through Baritone diameters are typically
from $150 to $650, unless requested at lengths longer than
60". Bassoons, cut in two typical lengths of 5' or 7'
(give or take a few inches run) from $1,100 to $1,650 each,
with the exception of special lengths or really special requests.
Standoffs, for "floating" them off the wall, and
needed for "Pickup Sticks" installations are $20/pair,
lengths from 2" to 8". Oboe prices vary based primarily
on size, and to some degree on material and inclusions, such
as twigs, beads, and some very special fibers.
ABOUT
SIZES: *
Quiet Oboes are available up to about 7 feet
in length, longer by request*, and in 4 diameters:
- Soprano
(2" diameter)
- Tenor
(2'-1/2" dia.)
- Baritone
(3-1/2" diameter)
- Bassoon
(5" diameter.)
For the
wholesale buyer, we recommend a showing of at least four pieces
(a bare minimum) with one or more either a Baritone or a Bassoon.
Most people need a Bassoon, they just don't know it yet.
ABOUT
COLOR:
Offered to you in just about any color under
the sun, chances are great that we have the colors you need
and want.** You can also mail us samples of your colors, or
call to arrange the e-mail sending of photos. We love phone
calls. We're old-fashioned and friendly.
ABOUT
INSTALLATIONS:
YOU CAN DO IT!
If, however, you would like us to do it, we'll be thrilled.
We charge $100/hr to install (have tools, often travel), $150
to reinstall (we are not always available for this), and can
diagram installations for you to install. There are more details
to this subject, but we'd rather show you pictures and cover
the rest when we actually have the project.
Notes:
* Baritones and Bassoons are lovely
at long lengths. We recommend keeping the slimmer ones shorter.
Prices are subject to change without notice. Returns for credit
only, within 30 days.
** Custom colorways may be subject
to an additional 10% and may not be returned.
